Stephen Hawking vs Leonard Susskind

This is a pretty fascinating video. Thirty years ago, Susskind and Hawking met in Werner Erhard's mansion. Werner Erhard was and is a rather rich and mysterious thinker. Today, a similar setup would probably occur at Jeffrey Epstein's Little St. James Island.




In that house, Hawking explained why he thought that the information was lost during black hole evaporation. Susskind was the only one who really understood this heresy - wrong heresy, as we know today - so he got angry. ;-)

In the video, the first four minutes are mainly about Hawking and Susskind first appears exactly in the middle of the video, at 4:10.
